The Alagappa Group of Educational Institutions was founded by Padma Bhushan Dr. R.M. Alagappa Chettiar, who dedicated his life and fortune to the cause of education. Today, two charitable trusts carry forward his vision:

• Dr. Alagappa Chettiar Educational Trust (ACET)
• Asoka Charitable Trust (ACT)

Both trusts hold 80G Tax Exemption status, meaning your donations are eligible for tax deductions under the Indian Income Tax Act.
